A stylish 3 bedroom apartment in Shelly Beach with beautiful breaker views and direct access to St Mikes Beach. Extremely well located accommodation within a short stroll of Shelly Centre. The apartment is secure and well equipped. Well suited to families with a swimming pool, a park-like garden with a stream and a kiddies play area. This accommodation suits both business travellers, couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday on the coast.
THE SPACE
The apartment is well presented for luxury living. There are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, both with large showers. The main room and 2nd bedroom are furnished with queen sized beds and the 3rd bedroom has 3/4 beds. A balcony overlooks the garden and has a private gas braai.

GUEST ACCESS
Shelly Centre is a 5 min walk from the apartment and St Mikes main beach is also just a short stroll away.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Parties, loud noise and smoking are prohibited in this apartment. We ask that neighbours are respected with regards to noise levels after 10 pm.
Only paying guests are allowed in the apartment.
The smart t.v has Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Please note due to the current shortage of electricity in SA you may experience intermittent power outages .
During water shortages we have back up Jojo tanks.
We provide a fresh set of bath towels on check-in. We do not provide beach/pool towels. All toiletries, toilet paper, cleaning products and supplies are complimentary on arrival only.
Please use the lock-up safe for personal belongings should you require extra security for valuables.

Remarkably renovated, furnished and decorated flat, with a private access to the beach in front of the premises, we loved every piece of detail, making this stay such a relaxing one. Loved it! Our breaths where taken away inside and out… ocean views, roaring waves rocking you to sleep, the soul at ease…
A few meters from direct access to a never ending quiet beachfront, coffee on the beach with a sunrise, wine on the beach with sunset and a moon rise, wow!!!
We booked for 5 nights and had to extend our stay by another night… The host has thought of everything… Salt pepper, olive oil, milk…. You name it… It was a visit we will never forget…

Shelly Beach is a coastal resort town on the South Coast of the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa.
The apartment is just a short stroll from St Michaels On Sea which is a lovely small village centred around a fantastic little beach, a lagoon and a small navigable river. Very popular beach among families with kids. It has lifeguards as well as shark nets. There is a fresh water pool and a tidal pool.
St Mikes offers one of the best right hand point breaks in South Africa, which has made it very popular to surfers and body boarders.
It is considered the mecca for surfing on the South Coast. The waves here are consistent and riders enjoy long walls and often thick barrels. It is a reef point break and sandbar rolled into one. The beach is a popular spot for many surfing competitions, including the SA Champs and SA Masters Champs.
Next to the beach is a grassy park with a popular restaurant/cocktail bar overlooking the park with beautiful views of St Mikes bay.
The lagoon offers paddle boats and canoe hire and also has a water slide in
season. Orange Rocks, which is the stretch of rocks between St Michaels and Uvongo beach is very popular among the fishermen.
A weekly attraction at St Michaels is the Uvongo Park Run. This 5 km fun run starts at St Michaels beach every Saturday at 8 am. It then follows the paths and trails along the rocks to Uvongo Beach and back. The weather on the South Coast is always good, even in winter. The sea temperature, which is influenced by the warm Mozambique current, seldom drops below 19 degrees.
Shelly Beach is nearby where the local ski boat launch site in the area is. This is where shark cage diving, scuba diving, fishing charters and fun boat rides are offered. Protea Banks, a world renowned dive site is only a few nautical miles from Shelly Beach. It has become popular with Scuba Divers and Snorkelers alike with a large variety of marine life which can viewed in relatively shallow water.
Within 50 km of St Michaels is Oribi Gorge which offers the longest zip-line in Africa, mountain biking, hiking, white water rafting, and a nature reserve. Furthermore the Wild Coast Sun is also less than 50 km away and offers golf, jet skiing, boat cruises, a water park for the kids as well as a casino for the adults – all available to day visitors.
